LPS Appoints Kirsten Hall as Chief Operating Officer
LPS has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer to its Leadership Team with responsibility of overseeing Operations, Sales and Finance; leading the business teams to drive divisional performance with a continued focus on customer satisfaction.
Logistics Planning Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Kirsten Hall Chief Operating Officer as effective October 1, 2010. Hall will report directly to the LPS President and will be responsible for overseeing all divisions within Logistics Planning Services with a strategic focus on new customer integration and service excellence to LPS’ valued customers. The COO will be responsible for Operations, Sales and Financial oversight for all the divisions. She is responsible for driving divisional performance and assessing the growth and sales strategies used by each division. The COO will be responsible for building and sustaining a corporate environment that encourages employee trust, respect and accountability.
Kirsten Hall brings 14 years of experience from Imation Corporation, a global leader in data storage products. She held various progressive positions in both Information Technology and Operations. Hall brings experience in Operations including leadership of Customer Service, Demand Planning, Global Process Design and Ownership, Distribution and Transportation, Project Management and Merger and Acquisition experience. Hall is a versatile operations management professional with extensive experience in driving results and bottom-line improvements through leadership of results oriented teams. She has a proven track record of implementing complex acquisition integrations and restructuring in a changing environment. Hall is a leader in developing integrated Sales and Operations business teams to drive performance.
Hall was a leader for the Lean and Lean SixSigma initiatives for the Corporation at all levels. Hall led the Global training for Lean Enterprise and was a facilitator for Kaizen and Lean re-engineering projects in several areas of the corporation. Her experience includes Six Sigma Black Belt Training and Lean Enterprise Training and Certification from the University of Michigan Engineering Program.
Hall’s most recent appointment at Imation was Director of Operations. Her leadership responsibilities included direct management of Customer Service including a Global Shared Services Center, Product Support, Global Item Administration, Strategic Account Teams, Global Demand Planning and S&OP.
Hall holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and has several certifications including Six Sigma Black Belt Trained and Lean Office Certification from the University of Michigan Engineering.
